I would say wait to see how it performs for a little. As of now, SC10's are still winning the big races. Now, whether this is driver skill, or they just haven't gotten them dialed in yet; that is unknown. I'd say wait for some reviews to come out, and then decide.

when i went SCT shopping after a 20 year hiatus from R/C, i went with the XXX. yes, its "dated", but its also proven to work. in the right hands the old Losi is still VERY competitive, parts support is still abundant, and its been proven to work by thousands of drivers over the years.
most of the same can be said for the SC10, but where the Losi really shines is in the price. you can get a brand new roller for around $110. to me, this alone makes the XXX worth considering. even if you hate it, you can sell it off and recoup 75% of your investment. if you like it, you can opt for the TLR kit for $130(which should be dropping soon with the release of the 22sct). you'll still be $50 less than the FT SC10, plus you'll have spare parts.
