Hey,

I went to the track for the first time today with my B4.1 and I love it!

Just a few questions:

How worth it is the VTS slipper? Yes I said VTS, not Avid. I would like to keep my buggy mostly Team Associated parts.
Is this all I need for the VTS conversion:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Conversion-Set

Also, help me decide what battery to get in the future. I plan on running a Reedy 7.5T motor geared 21/81 (although right now I am borrowing a reedy RTR Brushless motor and ESC)
http://www.reedypower.com/news/lates..._LiPo_Battery/
http://teamassociated.com/reedy/parts/details/601/
http://teamassociated.com/reedy/parts/details/628/
-I like the price and weight of the Wolfpack
-The 65C sounds like overkill but the 6500 Mah is nice to have.
-I originally planned on getting the 60C 5500MAh before I saw the other two options.

Ok last question:
It seems as if I cant get my car as low as 24MM both front and rear (im running stock springs)
I might be measureing wrong though as I am only using a ruler.
I would like to make sure I can get the car to 24mm before even considering a lighter battery such as the wolfpack. (currently I am using a Gens Ace 40C)

Thanks for reading my big post! Lol

-Venom

Ok, my interest is peaked! I'm going to try anodizing my turnbuckles. I have 2 questions I couldn't find answers to in the various YouTube videos.

How long do the 9v batteries last? I plan on doing all of my turnbuckles & once my son sees them he will want to do his. Will 1 set do all of them?

I am going to try for the red/magenta color around 90v just to be different. If I get done & don't like the color can I re apply at a higher voltage to get a different color? I assume if I want a lower voltage I will have to strip the anodizing off to start over, but teal or green ( both higher voltages) would be cool also.

P.s. you guys suck for showing me this. I spent the whole night watching vids & reading about the process instead of practicing in VRC

My paint scheme is red, so red would be cool, let us know how it turns out. And I'm assuming to get 90v you need 10 9v batteries? Sorry for the dumb question

The batteries don't last very long, it's best if you have access to a voltage regulating power supply or similar, you should be able to get through your set but I doubt anything else.

Whats the size and thread of the screw that holds the shock to the tower? Kinda surprised this kit came with plastic nuts for it
