Thanks. These conditions if I recall are they loose / slick with big jumps.
Camerons home track sort of though , said grip was good ....
Was surprise how good the truck was in fact and did not understand all the bad said about .
That was his second race with , first was our regional & he won that one .
Had diff issue at Daves , other wise could of won ....

You may have it hard believing me on this ..

The Sc10 4x4 handling actually shines on loose or low traction conditions .
As the traction goes way up ?
What bad the truck has becomes even more pronounce & noticeable..
pic is the track & layout they ran on

Agreed. It seems to be much more planted in the corner's. I have tried a durango and the back end seems very unsettled when its loose. Not tried a Losi before so can't say one way or another on that.

Hello ,I'm kinda very new to dirt, I have a slash 4x4 that I use for bashing . We have a track that just opened and was thinking of picking up a sc4x4 to race with , where can I find beginners guide / pages for this truck , would I be better off just hopping up my slash or pick pick up this truck , is the team kit that much better ? Thanks
team kit is leaps and bounds ahead of the stock. with stock you end up upgrading to the factory team spects anyway which costs more. the first page of this thread has information for you. all you need is a good setup sheet off rc10.com (cody, bk, new mayfield) and some correct tires for your track and your pretty set. this truck is built super tough.
get it
get it

for anyone the lives in the north east , this weekend CRC raceway is holding the 1st annual Intergalactic Short Course Championships.
crc is a leader in the world of 1/12 cars and also has a killer offroad track. so if you live this up this way come check it out.

One isn't better than the other IMO, they both get the job done differently.
Check out the losi SCTE also. It's not perfect, neither is the associated but it's easier to get setup and going fast out of the box than the associated.
The associated drives more like a sedan on dirt than the losi so maybe that's a good thing for you.
The losi drives more like a 1/8 buggy, stable but with less turn in than the associated.
Generally the losi is better suited to outdoor tracks and the associated is better suited to indoor tracks. Where will you be racing?
Like Ryan said, if you decide AE, get the team factory team kit for sure.

Thats great!
A bit of trial and error to make it work right

Used the steering link and servo horn off my mtx4 onroad which seems to be good so far

New to dirt, you come from onroad? If so, your going to need those onroad tuning skills for this truck.
