Changed to the standard retainer which made getting the nut flush possible.
Coudnt get the thread started on the shaft with the thicker retainer.
Question is, did i use the correct retainer and the thicker one is an option for harder setting or should i be using the thicker retainer straight off?

Make sure you are using a V2 slipper plate as well. The V2 spring seats differently.

I hit the LiveRC free video perfect to watch RM win the Championship. That's great to see. Now RC in 2wd SC Mod and Short Course goes to Associated!

I just finished mounting two shorty packs in my SC10 4x4. Should make for a much better run time with 8000mAH!! Two Reedy 4000 shorty packs!

I am looking to switch my one SC10 4x4 to a saddle pack. I race outdoor on a large track. Can anyone suggest a kit?
Thanks

if you need the brace and slipper upgrades too:

or if you just wanna run saddles on your plastic chassis, and have the other upgrades.

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Battery-Strap
<- expensive, almost why id suggest the full upgrade anyway.

Mayfield. RCLive is down, apparently, but Ruona posted it on Facebook so I believe it.

Congrats Ryan.

The fan was mounted on a piece of lexan, and the piece of lexan was attached to the gearbox.

BK said that the front turnbuckles helped stiffen the front arms under braking cornering and made the car feel more responsive. This setup was really similar setup to something he made in the early 90's.

Default Blue fronts on the rear

I tried the blue front springs on ther rear and went up 2mm in ride height to 22mm. Was running the white rears and the truck always felt kinda "Mushy" in the rear but now it's really planted. Was able to power through some corners with much more speed than before and landing off jumps was much more settled. It seems as though small changes to this truck have a profound impact on the way it drives and handles. I was running with a buddy of mine with a Losi with the MIP kit and we were swapping leads at every other corner. This truck is driving the best it has ever driven since I bought it when released. Thanks again to all who have contributed to making this truck work better and easier to drive, Cause as we all know in it's infancy, it was a real PITA !!
