Looks very nice, FYI the spacer below your wing is suppose to go on top of the wing...

Haha. That will not change the color!

I also run the spacers under the wing.

no it's not. That's there to change the angle of the wing.

And yes, those slippers both look pretty cool.

Last night, I went with Jesse Granat to Camarillo to test out the new Avid Triad clutch. I had already installed the Associated VTS clutch in my B4.1 and Jesse was running the Triad. The track was a little blown out, hard base on the racing line and sandy fluff near the pipes. With us both running 17.5's, our cars had the perfect amount of speed for the track conditions. After a few laps, we brought the cars in for some adjustments. I loosened my VTS slipper to try and gain some drive off the jumps and out of the looser corners. I found I couldn't get the clutch to slip enough to be effective mainly due to the lenght of the top shaft. The clutch had too much friction and not enough adjustability with the stock V2 clutch spring. Having gone to West Coast to watch the Nationals the day before, I picked up a new Avid Triad Clutch. After installing it and changing packs, Jesse and I hit the track and ran untill the low voltage cut-off kicked in and shut down our cars.

With the Avid Triad Clutch, I was able to adjust it to get the perfect amount of slip. We ran for at least 20 minuets with out any glazing and once the clutch was set, it didn't change.

I was curious about the weight differences between the two clutch set ups so I weighed them on my scale this morning. The Avid is much lighter as you can see. The VTS did have one vented pressure plate and a Kimbrough spur gear. Both spur gears weighed were 72 tooth.
Thanks for a very informative review. I knew there was a reason I came to these forums.

Options! There's a handful that run spacers on top and even more on the B44.1.

Hey guy need some help, I have a b4.1 WC running the WC setup with a 1/4 oz in each rear triangle and 1/2oz by the receiver, but I need more side bit going through and exiting the corners. I run on a fairly large dirt track with around meduim traction. What changes should I make to get more side bit?

Are there any good metal wing mounts in the after market? Also, I keep destroying my wings (jconcepts). Are there any after market ones that are stronger?
