RC10B4.1 FT/WC
How many of you have stripped a pin drive wheel not by your own doing (aka leaving a wheel nut loose)?
I haven't ever stripped one on a B4, Cougar SV, or B4.1. I've never had a problem with hexes or pins, and I still do use the hexes when I want to use my 22 wheels. It's a fad IMO. If you don't have a reason to change, don't bother, as there is nothing gained from it.

yeah, the solid captured pin is nice. I have had a few wheels over the years that were very tight. yeah, I could have drilled them out. And I thought i had the wheel lined up and pushed on all the way but didnt. I always test the wheels when I change them, so I never stripped one out, but it was annoying. The fact is hex is a lot easier. Side note, I dont use the hollow axles either. I have a few wheels with attached axle running around where the hex stripped out and i could not get the wheels off. I like the solid front axle, but it can catch on the pipe and ripe my arm off.
What parts? The pin itself? If that's what you're referring to, they aren't going anywhere. You all enjoy that wagon, I'm going to stock up on (super cheap!) pin-drive wheels. =)
That is is true. The only real reason for a new car would be sales. Everyone wants the new item..... I dont have any issues with my FT B4 non wc. At the local track, the B4's are smoking the 22's. But.... the best drivers are driving AE buggies, so yeah. There was a durango buggy push here, but it didnt stick. No one could get the "right" setup.
YES!!! def beside everyone saying the pin strips and this and that ya its a plus for the hex BUT the major thing is having a rim that square an not all out of round the newer jc rim the mono are soooo straight un like the older modles were it look like it wasnt even glues on it was that off balance... plus the front end when u check the camber and toe its real hard to get good setting yes the slop def is a part of it but the bearing in the rims make it a mess with wheel wobble... ! more thing JC offers a inverse rim also were it let u adjust the stiffness of the rim kinda like the 1/8th style
Just got my new FT B4.1 WC all ready to go. Changed to this from durango so im hoping its good. I love my FT SC10 so I should like this. Still cant make my mind up on shorties or reg packs, any suggestions from anyone thats tried both?

If your running a tight indoor track, then people seem to like shorties. Makes the care more nimble I am told.

here is a another one. Ignore the shock mods they did. The lead is still pretty standard.
