RC10B4.1 FT/WC
I am leaning towards the avid hexes. I know a lot of people are JC crazy right now. But I know a few guys at the track that have major issues with the JC hex. I had a set on my sc10 and I thought it was tight. But the hex just fell off. I didnt crank it down because of all the stripped hex screw out there, but it was "snug". They just made me nervous.

The JC ones are fine. The issue was that the screws that clamp the hex onto the axle were too short and didnt thread all the way through and would sometimes strip the hex. This happened on one of my sets. I shot a quick email to JC and they replaced them right away.
So have they replaced the screw with a longer one? Its great that they sent you new ones but if they are just sending new ones with the same issue whats the point?
That's exactly what happened to me. It went on fine the first time, but when I removed them and put them back on a month or two later, it broke. I never swapped out to longer screws even though I knew people have had the issue.
How many of you have stripped a pin drive wheel not by your own doing (aka leaving a wheel nut loose)?
I haven't ever stripped one on a B4, Cougar SV, or B4.1. I've never had a problem with hexes or pins, and I still do use the hexes when I want to use my 22 wheels. It's a fad IMO. If you don't have a reason to change, don't bother, as there is nothing gained from it.

ok, so i have owned a RC10 since way back. I have never ever ever stripped a wheel. Only broke a couple pins. But..... I have always like hex better. And having the bearing in the hub allows for quicker wheel swaps imo. Also, if you want to borrow a tire from a losi or kyosho driver it will bolt on. But.... There is nothing really wrong with the pin rear and the fronts. I just find the hex are more "standard" these days. And being standard can make it nice to get parts easier. But again, it is not a performance addon, just maybe a convenience addon.
