Not sure on that ESC, the 4600 pro4 is a 1Y wind.

I've had the strc part in since October when I built it. Doesn't break things left & right and I'm not too easy on the truck.

But to be fair...
Only issue I've had is broken tabs on the top servo case, but it was a 9 year old airtronics 94359 that had one tab already broken and the plastic had to be old and brittle and on it's way out anyway. But who knows, maybe the aluminum piece had an influence on it.

Nothing too broken to take me out of a race though, it finished with a portion of one tab holding it together... just didn't turn very well to one side, but it finished.

Then the dreaded servo replacement

Why so?? I can change out my servo by removing about 7 screws and have it all done in about 10mins or so and that's making sure its aligned and everything...........

I would think the havoc esc would run it without issues, but may not run it as well as other choices... but if you got it, run it. Don't know how many amps the havoc is, may not put out as much power as other choices, or maybe it does if it's at least a 120a esc. But should not have problems (opinion of novac aside). Dont run timing on the 4 pole motors.

My last motor was a tekin sc4x 4800kv motor that was labeled as 4.5 turn.

I'm definitely not 7 min. Realistically with re routing the wire, pulling the clicker and all that stuff off, I'm longer.
It's not a huge job, but way more than a 1/8 buggy or the scte (based on a buggy) where it is sitting right there ready to be plucked out.

That does have to be the most buried servo I've come across.

I've not had many cars but this truck has the best ball cups I've ever used, never popped one. I'm going to start using them on other cars. Putting the balls in the cups took some force mind you so it's not surprising.

Got a chassis brace and want to use the over tray?

I made this hack job kind of mount using a body mount. I also dremel'd out slots to sit down on the brace better.

Only the Havoc Pro SC w/X-Drive and the updated brain board can handle the Pro4 motors and other 4pole motors. They were released by Novak around Feb. of this year. If you're not sure call Novak and give them your serial # for them to check. I run that esc with both Pro4 4000&4600. Works awesome.

Captured turnbuckle? Have you tried a net to catch one, lol. I assume you mean the ball ends. Have you replaced the balls? They might be worn or abrasive and wearing out the ends. I have never had one pop off, but the track i run on is not very dusty, so I do not get a ton of debris between the end and the ball. Are you looking to use a screw and washer on the top to prevent them from popping?

Yes and yes lol. Kindof like the slash.
Not a very dusty tack and at this point a net to keep me from losing them would help lol. Just spent 10min looking for one in my yard.

You want something like this? And you lost one in the yard? Lost what? A turnbuckle? A Ball?

Yes I want something like that.
I lost a full steering turnbuckle in the yard after a bad landing on my "track" because both ends popped off.
