I have seen a few deans short out after the shrink wrap was messed up. I will stick with Traxxas Although I am slowly moving to bullets

Bullets or xt-60's for me, and as far as solder goes I much prefer 63/37 rosin core and a good paste flux.

EC5, by far. Deans are popular but they are crap for 1/8. Everybody going for a choice doesn't mean it's the good one..

I replaced all my Deans by XT-60 connectors and I have no regret at all. Works the best for me!
