Is the track built? last time I saw there wasn't even dirt there. Unless its going to be on the oval.

last time i spoke with erich he said that the dirt is there and construction has begun, it's slow going though because he could use some help.

Not that I plan on attending, as far as I am concerned this was an RCHR event. I wish them the best of luck with it, hopefully they can have a great race.

I plan on getting a gold pan together to run just because . I know the weeks leading up to the VONATS at RCHR people were running their vintage stuff and having a lot of fun maybe we could get a class going for Wednesdays. A little warm up for people who would like to attend Bethel's race

Ok. Guys from what I know john is going to have some sort of vintage race of his own which means now we will be able to race at 2 races for vintage cars. As far as the web site it that way because the magazine sponsors it all you have to do is go on the mags web site and there is probably info there. Last I heard about the bethel track is there is a deadline on when the dirt will be delivered or the event will be held at another location stay tuned. Hey rick I plan on racingv mine in a couple weeks to get prepared

thats awesome news tom! i was a little bummed when i heard that it wasn't being held at rchr this year. then i was kinda bummed that it wasn't going to be at any other existing area tracks.
i'll race anywhere a vintage race is held, the more the merrier. i'd love to get more vintage races going, year round. could do it once a month or something like that.
the only thing thats kind of cool about the bethel location is if we can get enough cars we can also run a vintage dirt oval race. i've got a few vintage dirt oval cars that would be perfect for that.

due to my love for vintage cars i'm not going to pout and say i'm not going because it's not at this track or that track, thats childish. lets just race vintage cars and have fun!

at then end of the day, we are a small communtiy of rc racers and we should all just play nice and get along. remember, we race toy cars!
