The quickest, easiest way is to go to your local sign shop. They can cut masks for you and have access to the vector files of most well known logos.

If its midnight, and you want to do it yourself, you can hand cut them. I just print a logo to the size I want (with a reverse image), attache it to the outside of the body with tape so it can't move and hand cut it from the inside. This assumes that you are using liquid masking film or a clear mask of some sort.

In the picture below, the logos were cut by hand from the inside using the method I described.

Thanks for the tip. The problem with taping it on the outside is... you need a steady hand when cutting out the letters lol. I just need to practice I suppose.

You are absolutely right! When I do that, I use a nice bright light, good reading glasses and I take my time. And, I have nice fresh X-acto blade so I don't have to push down too hard. I think the liquid mask also helps because it causes the blade to drag a little so that you pull it along somewhat.

Yes..bright light above...yet oddly when I hold the body over a dark surface with light above me the cut lines glow so i can see them better.

A swivel knife helps too.

My custom paintjob: Here's one of them relating...
