Here are a few of my latest shells. The VTA is for me. The sponsor decals are from Parma but the numbers and Mountain Dew logos are all paint from the paint masks I made up.

The Mazda of for a buddy at the track. I don't paint a lot of bodies due to the fact that I haven't been able to get one done in a timely fashion. This one took me about 8 hours including the prep time needed to make the paint masks and the actual painting time. I tried to use some solvent based paint but my experience with it was terrible. I think I will stick with water based for a while.

I am getting better at it with every body I paint. This one took about 50% less time than the last one. Everything on this one was done using paint masks and paint. No stickers...I did custom cut his initials out of vinyl and then airbrushed them. I then covered them and the sides with a clear book tape layer.

You can read about my troubles with the Pactra paint in the paint thread. Kept getting getting these weird spider web stands.

A little change up on a CBD design. FTW A8 body for my pops.

And going back to my old scheme + drips. I think I'll skip the drips next time.

You have to thin the Pactra. Depending on the color anywhere from 40-60%. If you don't that's when you get the spider webs.

So awesome to hear the great responses. To think I hated it simply because I thought it didn't look complex enough. The RCS candies really do a lot of the leg work. It gives "wow" factor to a job that would otherwise look simple.
