Proof for everyone the Sc10 4x4 truck main "issue" is the fact its really fast and quite capable of winning big events ...
The trophy says "modified short course"... just sayin, lol.

O-well, Hartman proves it as well ...

looks to be a bigger "issue" then some claim I guess ....

Vito

the new Team comes with the Ae saddle pack holes drilled already , guess it will be a running change like done before . you will need to check the chassis to see if its a newer edition .

Most just drill them selves and the Saddle pack instructions include a full size diagram to help mark the holes location .

Right now I have four pins. I had 8 but it had to much push. So I decided to make a big change and go to four and see what happened and it made a big difference I might even be able to go back up a little so maybe I will try that.

MIP came out with an losi conversion. It's awesome. My buddy has one. The team mgr from MIP spanked Brian Kinwald.

Enjoy. Have a great weekend.
Wow that truck and the driver were on another level.

BK got A3 by a nice margin. Put BK on that Losi and I'm sure that Losi would have finished even further ahead LOL

Question On the 8mm rear hub mod. I know most are doing this for outdoor tracks to increase rear traction but on a high traction indoor track is it recommend?

Not sure. I think mine was better at EH with the 4mm parts and 3 on the ball stud.

Oasis, Craig: Did you guys have to rethink your throttle after the 8mm? Cause my butt seems less planted than previously. Do I just need to run more packs?

(It feels great but I have to drive it less aggressively it 'appears'.)

i know my traction seemed alot better in long sweeping corners and a little bit better all around. last week i tried laying the upper of the rear shocks down and that helped even more.

I ran 8mm outside, 3mm inside for about six months and it was okay, but it lacked forward bite. I went to 5mm inside and it was much better, but I wanted to shorten the hub carriers up and I couldn't do that the way my hubs were built, so I bought the Hot Racing hubs and ran them out of the box 4mm with 3mm in the inside. That was the best it had ever been.

I have 8mm outside and 7mm inside now, and it's meh. But there's so much stuff I've done different along the way, I'm not sure I'm the best one to be giving advice. My 2w? Strapped. My 2w SC? Strapped. This truck? Yeeeeee......

I'm going to start over again and rebaseline my stuff with a 540 motor and the Exotech hub and be done with it and shelf it, breaking it out when I want to run it. I always ran my timing at -0- (which on Novak is 30 degrees) and Matt Murphy has Cameron's motor at -5 degrees. Cam can run 2 teeth more than I can, and his has enough torque. I'm going to try that, and hope I don't need more rip.

I guess I could just call Matt and buy a motor like Camerons, but I'm seriously burned out on this class, and don't feel like spending another dime or any more time developing something for it. I mean, it's okay, but it's not competitive laptime wise with the other guys around here.

User Nick George's SC10 truck is tons better than mine and he hasn't hardly done anything to it. But at this point I don't really care that much because 2w is so much fun. It's totally possible I just don't like 4w.
