Same thing happened to me my first night out. Get the Aluminum hexes and you won't have any issues.

You want the limiters above the spring cup and below the bottom of the shock.

Above the cup and below the rubber bumper. Count the rubber bumper as part of the 8mm. I think mine was 3mm thick, thus 5mm of limiters.

No, on top of the shock cup. Should be: Shock cartridge - limiters - shock cup

Four answers within a minute or so only a few minutes after the question was asked . . . let this thread be an example to the others.

Really bad example to tell someone to go search ..

Lots of new racers that need help , telling someone to read the entire thread or search is just being negative & lazy ...

Lots of good folks here and they try to be helpful ....

Default vts vs c-diff

Hey guys i am wondering does the exotec/vts setup provide more acceleration than the v2 c-diff. It just seems that i am not getting all i can out of my c-diff. Maybe i just need to replace the spring not sure what to do. Thanks

I put 5mm on each shock would it hurt to put another 1mm on each shock to use up the rest of my limiters?

Depending on your traction level at your track the VST slipper might give you more rear drive off the corners. With that said yesterday I was testing a new motor in front of my house before heading to the track and I was pulling the front wheels off the ground a few inches with 6 pins in the center diff. So that is pretty much maximum drive to the rear without flipping over backwards.

The pins do wear over time so you might try turning the pins a little to make contact in a new spot on the ball.

So how many limiters is everyone putting on their front and rear shocks and are you using the stock ones that come with the kit or are there better ones out there?
