The smallest spur I could find for that trans was a 66t.

Glad this isn't my truck because it's rapidly becoming a money pit. I think my buddy would have been better off to have just bought a BL Emaxx, ERevo or Savage Flux and been done with it. lol

2200kv is a low KV when going though a tranny and axles so you have to gear up ALOT to comp.
It's gonna be 6S as soon as another battery box comes in. I'm going to put a 22T on it and go up from there. I've got plenty of room to move the motor around. Hell, I may have to run another spur gear on the motor to get this thing to get out of it's own way. lol

To say I was surprised at how slow it was is an understatement. A "Walmart" RC is faster. lol

Lol if I wasn't such a diy junkie I would have gone that route and saved at least 200 bones....

Here is a 58t spur that will fit... It says Jato but is the same. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXKLZ9&P=ML

Also adding more batterys will help!!! You may not want to gear it way up on 6s you may burn up your motor.

None of those spurs in the links will fit the Tmaxx trans it has. This trans uses the old style spur with the "pencil eraser" slipper pads. I'm more or less going to throw pinions at it until it can at least hang with my BL Blitz......keeping up with my Savage Flux is out of the question. lol

6S is what he wants. At least now the chassis isn't lopsided like it was with just one battery. lol

It could, but I'd have to extend the motor wires and I didn't want to do that from a visual standpoint. I wanted to keep the conversion as clean and easy as possible.

I looked on eBay and I found Kimbrough's 66T spur. If the pinion experiment doesn't work, I will buy the Kimbrough and see what happens. This is just another part I'll have to tell him to buy. lol
