Right on the front where it starts to curve up. I was racing at my track and hit a pole dead center. I wasnt going that fast. First time this happened and I have driven this car a lot. My son broke one on his sc10 a while back and remember reading this is common on the AE cars. We put on a RPM bumper on his truck and it reinforces it quite a bit. My T4.1 also has the RPM mini bumper but it doesnt wrap around the chassis like the sc10.

Mabey use a SC10 RPM bumper and chop the front off or make a brace out of alum that mounts up using the same holes as the back part of the RPM bumper.

What kind of cruel track designer puts a pole right in the middle of the racing line??!?!

I doubt any of the AE chassis would have saved you there. There are some aluminum chassis' out there. RCRD makes some really nice ones. I've got one on my B4 right now and I am seriously thinking about putting one on my T4 as well. I like the weight down low on the car.

Where do I get one of these RCRD chassis? I googled it but could only find pictures. I would for sure buy one.

all the conversion needs is
front body post
Rear body posts
Chassis
Front trailing axles (unless you do hex)
DE Racing is making HEX rims Not out yet though
T4 wheels/tires

tires and body are expensive. What I did was find a T4 roller on here that came with several sets of tires for around $100. And keep the SC10 for spares

Difficult question. The Carbon is stronger but stiffer and more "brittle" if you are into hitting poles it will break easier. The composite is softer and more flexible/forgiving.

What he said

It's better to find a cheap t4 roller than convert a SC10 to one.
the body rims/tires are what throw the price up there

I was going to do the conversion and did the same thing. By the time you buy the chassis, body, tires and wheels it is really not worth it

Its RC Racing Designs. They have their own thread on RC Tech.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...designs-5.html

If you read through the thread at all you will see ovalracer1m posting towards the beginning. I actually bought my B4 from him. Sweet car.

So many people in my area are giving up on the Stadium class I would look into just getting a roller. I've seen them go for $100 in more or less new condition. Keep an eye on the for sale threads, you can make a great deal in it!

Does anyone know if B4 hex adapters will fit rear SC10 axles?

The Ofna wheels make the rear width of the truck 13.25 inches. I was hoping to decrease it by putting thinner hexes.

They will fit, but I don't think it will bring them in enough. And Im not sure if the hex will allow the wheel not to get tight. It may not be wide enough to come up to the threads on the axel.
