I didn't say it didn't work, what I said was I hated it. it needed too be gone through big time.

Its fine at EH but I don't relish hitting turn marshals in the ankles with a six pound brick. Ive only raced there twice, first day I took my spur off and gave it too the guy from Fresno. The second day I wanted too run my RB4.1.

Hi All,

New tuning option now shipping. First thing racers are saying when given the chance to try it first hand in their truck "Wow! When can I buy it?!"

http://www.exotekracing.com/sc10-4x4...-front-clutch/

FYI- Alloy Chassis are back in stock also.

Thanks for your support!

Nice but where is the rest of it? I could see how this will work very well with the front slipper/one bearing set-up like fastlap products was working on. Seems to be not available yet though.

Don't take this wrong I think you have a good idea; you just need to make the stuff for the front now.

Well, no reason for us to prototype a part that's already made by a great company! Good job, I can't wait to get my hands on this!

I'm skeptical on this, you basically made a slipper hub that fits right into the grooves of the sc10 4x4 spur correct? Wouldn't there be an issue of the plastic on the spur (the corners holding the hub) wear quickly under heavy breaking/acceleration?

I am going to agree on this, but for the price it may be worth just checking out ..... I do think that EXoTek makes great products and researches and tests all of their products. I own a few ExoTek products all of which are great.....

We have done 6 months of testing with several drivers and no breakages on the spur, motor, pinion, belt, pulleys, idler gears, cvds, diffs, wallet, yada yada. I did not want to go to production if it caused any issues at all thus the intensive testing. My thought when I originally came up with the idea was that the belt would insulate the drive train (like a giant rubber band) and it was indeed verified during testing.
We have done our home work on this

You should give Exotek some credit You don't need the front wheels to slip.

What's really funny about this whole exchange is Oasis has no idea about the specific incident that Nick is bagging on me about, and is just making a general reference.

If you're planning on racing, yes, and it's not even close.
If you're planning on a shelf queen, yes, and it's not even close.
If you're planning on bashing, buy the RTR.

Priority mail actually charges us $16.95 to the EU.

When the shops that stock Exotek get these in stock you will likely see lower ship rates to the EU. They do what they do best- ship small orders all day long.
