I have a Mamba XL (Baja ESC) That's pushing 9 weeks in for service now......

I never run ANY Castle ESC without either a BEC or a receiver cap, the integrated BEC's simply can't handle any sort of decent amp draw, funny that Castle just happen to sell BEC's!

IMO Castle is now WORSE than Maxamps, Customer service is non existent, the products are unreliable to the point that I run with a fire blanket at hand every time I take the Baja out.

Went ahead and ordered another mamba max and got a bec just to be safe while my burned up mamba is being repaired. Just wondering do I plug the bec into the 3rd channel on the receiver or what? And will it work with the stock traxxas receiver?
