RC10B4.1 FT/WC
Practiced today.
Replaced my AE 72T spur with a new AE one.
Replaced my Robinson 33T aluminum pinion with a new Robinson steel.
Transmission sounds the same. Motor plate screws aren't overtightened, as the transmission spins free.
Going to take it apart tonight and see if I can find something. This kit is brand new, and it was noisy out of the box.
Side note, JC Barcodes V1 & V2 are amazing tires. Probably going to be my main tire to run at my track from now on. Once broken in and sauced, the V1 is nice when the track is slightly wet. The V2 is great in the dry.

ive driven a b4 with this chassis and its very stable but its really heavy and tight on space id say stick with stock ae chssis. +8
This past Friday was my first race with my B4.1 Worlds Car coming from a 22, and all I can say is WOW! All the promblems I had with the 22, like no traction and I could never get it to steer enough or stop pushing. The B4 was completly the opposite I had rear traction and the buggy didnt push at all! The stock worlds setup definatly is a nice place to start.
One quick question though, the plastic "black" nuts that thread on to hold the shocks on the tower what can they be replaced with? I would like something that I can snug down on without the screws keep turning.

sweep tendroid is also a nice tire but the silver gets stretchy to quick. I bought a set of blue sweeps and they do need to be broken in but hopefully work better. Greens I like on a dry track, i was on v2s when there was a lot of bite but when it gets dusty a v1 barcode is perfect.
For those that are having problems with your car being loud, try changing the bearings on the top shaft. The kit bearings are crap in my opinion. If its still loud, get this:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...tory-Top-Shaft
If you look at the face of the teeth on the stock AE gear you will see how poor the quality is.

Also, would the MIP Aluminum shaft be any different?
