I'm loving the new 3ds, they've worked on all the surfaces I've tried, from loamy to high-bite. I need to go buy about 10 more sets now.

Are your high bite tracks hard-packed? I'd like to try a set, but they look like they'd need a fair bit of break-in to get them where I like them. I've been running V1 Barcodes with shaved/cut center pins with good results.

What do you feel doing that to your tires does? I run V1 gold barcodes on a med. bite indoor clay track and love them

WTF is going on with the Hazard wheels that noone has in stock except for you guys.

I think it makes the car more consistent. The track gets dusty throughout the run, and the full pins can make the rear a little squirrely when getting on throttle. We have a few switch backs with the current layout, and being able to really get into the throttle for a second or so between corners really helps.

Most of the local tracks are tacky enough that completely bald tires will still give you outstanding forward traction (RCHR, IRH, and RCE).

Oh ok thanks, makes sense, my track is similar in getting dusty thrrough out the heats until its blown off for the next round. And when its not a tad dusty almost bald tires really hook up, thanks for the tip!

If you have good traction with slicks then I don't think anything will work better haha, stick to those.

The track is usually moist, so we need the outer portion of the tread for the turns. Full slicks won't work.

Shaving the center makes the tire a lot more predictable in my situation.
