Can you fit velvet BB on the B4? Most are just doing the bb spring upgrade at our track.

I tried the Avid springs this past weekend and found that my buggy jumped way better but it did feel bouncier.
Overall I feel that the springs were a good investment.
I was using the orange/yellow Losi springs prior to switching.
I used Yellow rear, red front Avids.

Rears - ■Yellow: Rate: 1.99lb | Wire: 1.17mm | Coil: 12.50 | Length: 63mm | ID: 16.25mm

Fronts - ■Red: Rate: 3.28lb | Wire: 1.17mm | Coil: 7.75 | Length: 44mm | ID: 16.25mm

Front Oil - 35
Rear Oil - 30

This setup was for Norcal Hobbies - indoor.

If you look compare spring rates, the orange/yellow are considered 0.1 tighter and identify with the green/brown AE ones (although big bore springs do feel softer).
Thanks for your input!

It's a subjective question, my quick answer: NO.

How much money do you have? Do you have $180 to burn (with correct springs)? Will it feel smoother, probably yes. Will it make you a better driver, probably not.

I know a guy who has it on his buggy and it doesn't make him a better driver.

Rookie question. New JC inverse rims, what are people doing for air holes? Drilling Rim? hole in tyre?

I don't have an answer but what is the point of those rims?

most likely hole in the tire as most people run closed cell foam and cover up the wholes on the wheels and run a hole in the tire anyways

That is awesome. Which ones did you run?

The back side is dished so dirt and mud can't pack in the wheel.

I ran the softer Red/White combo, as I was also running a Promatch shorty all the way forward.

I'm running a modified Worlds setup with #2 pistons all the way around, Losi 32.5F/27.5R, and it feels pretty good, but a bit high. I'll play with the ride heights this weekend.

For weight, I'm just running the AE ballast, and 14g under the front bulkhead.

So if I run a full stick pack I should go with the stiffer set up of Losi BB Yellow rears and orange fronts?

Running orange front/yellow rears have been good for me as well. Seems to be the popular combo at WCRC

+1. Kyosho big bores are a smoother set up but at what price? Set of shocks for the price of a buggy roller? But Kyosho BB are so last month. The new flavor of the day is Avid springs. It seems that everyone likes to jump on every new fandangled gizmo that comes out. Did you see the pic of (insert pro driver's name here) prototype (insert part name here). I gotta get it! No you don't! You wont drive like said pro. Check your lap times. How much faster did you get swapping let say springs? Mid pack times to now TQ? I guess it's like women and Victoria Secrets. They could just as well wear cheaper Hanes No one sees their underwear but it makes them feel better knowing that they're wearing Vicky's secret.

It's the indian not the arrow!
