Default 2012 Novarossi Challenge at C.R.E Raceway

Hey Guys!!

I thought I would post this in case you wanted to make the trip up to see Neal and John and race on a sweet track! I'll be there also!! If you live in the US you'll need a passport so this should give you plenty of time to start the process.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/canadian...aug-3-5-a.html

After hosting the successful 2011 RCPro Canadian Nationals, we were approached to host the 2012 Novarossi Challenge and we are very excited about it!
Event Sponsors are:

Novarossi-
DeSoto Racing-
Clockwork Racing Engines-
Competition Heat-
(CSI)Competition Suspension Inc-

The event will be held August 3, 4, 5 at CRE Raceway in Winnipeg.

The Off Road facility is located at 738 Symington Road (corner of Symington Road and Highway #1 east) in Winnipeg and is part of the Grand Prix Amusements facility.
About the site: onsite canteen serving burgers, dogs, snacks and refreshments. There is also an on-site hobby shop, electricity (track is lit in case we run late), water and other amenities.

For those interested, there is plenty to do when guys are not on the track. Grand Prix has 3 go-kart tracks, bumper boats, etc as well as midway style amusements. For more information visit:http://www.grandprixamusements.com/

Traveler’s campground (Traveller's RV Resort Inc) is located a minute from the track and is next door to Fun Mountain Waterslide Park. Many racers have stayed at the campground in the past and have nothing but good things to say about it, very clean and they even have an outdoor pool.
Super 8 Motel is 2 minutes in the opposite direction from the track for those of us who don’t wish to “rough it out” at the campground.
Two large shopping malls located 10 minutes away from the track.

* "The Novarossi Challenge" is an open Trophy event, meaning you do not need to qualify for the event. The event will be limited to 350 entries as this will allow for a smooth weekend of racing without running into the late hours of the day. *

For pics of the facility visit: http://www.creraceway.com

If last year's RCPS Canadian Nationals are any indication, this is going to be an amazing event.

I'm already signed up in Pro 2 and Pro 4 SCT, and now, thanks to Neal, John and Nick, I'll be signing up in Intermediate Buggy as soon as I get my new transponder number.

Hey Dan, I was tempted to order mine a bit ago when I seen them but got side tracked. After seeing yours, I called up Randy to get our CRE version on order! Spoke with him for a bit and he generously offered a '2012 Novarossi Challenge/C.R.E. Raceway' version for a donated prize!

Purple for Nova of course! Someone is going to love winning that prize....

John & Neal,
I purchased a Clocked Werks B5 from you back in November. I finally had the chance to get it out and start break-in today now that it's warmed up and the 10 feet of snow we had up here in Alaska is finally gone. After only 10 tanks, I'm already impressed: it fired up immediately, will sit there and idle all day if I let it, and I can tell it will outperform my stock B5, even though the warmest head temperature I saw was 203F and it's still rich. Our outdoor off road season officially starts in 3 weeks, and I'm really looking forward to getting it out on the track and seeing what it can do. Thank you both for your excellent products and customer service.

I'm quite the fan of the clockwork B5. It really suits my driving style. Now the F11 is in the truggy and the bonito is next up so the buggy is coming out of storage and the B5 will go in it. If your friends store their rc crap at your house then it's fair game, lol. Got too many clockwork engines for 1 vehicle.
