You're welcome. The losi spur gear is very smooth and stronger.

Are you running blinky? Unless you're running boost or your track is the size of a broom closest, you'll probably find yourself to be undergeared. I run 17.5 blinky at 28/72 on a medium sized indoor track myself.

Blinky mode, aka "blinky," is the the non-timing profile on your ESC.

If you go over to TP on the ESC, and set it to LED 1, then you'll be in the "stock" profile with no boost. In this mode, there are 2 LEDs that blink rapidly.

You custom boost profiles are saved under LEDs 6 and 7.

LEDs 2-5 are preset boost profiles.

Default Slipper pad Question

Hi, Can some one tell me if the T4 and the T4.1 use the same slipper pads ?
The ones in my T4 are a yellow more like paper the ones in my T4.1 are white almost look and feel like plastic. Need to know and the part # for the T4.
THANKS

What all parts do I need to change my sc10 factory team to a t4.1 factory team? Can someone give me a list? Is it even worth doing for the money.

Great suggestion on filling to the same point, I wouldn't have thought of that. I'll be rebuilding this weekend and will post the results. Thanks for the reply.

I just did this conversion a month or so ago, I got the parts off Ebay and spent $40 before tires and body. Right at $100 total

T4 front body mount around $2
B4/T4 front bumper $2
B4 wing mount/T4 rear body mount $3
T4 chassis around $20-25
T4 battery brace $6 unless you get the carbon fiber one, then $15
T4 front wheel $6
T4 rear wheel $6
and a body $22

I think it's worth it, stadium truck is much more fun for me than short course was.

They are exactly the same size. I'm not sure why the T4.1 comes with the white ones that threw me a bit too at first, but you can replace them with the Yellow ones without any issues. I'm guessing the yellow ones are better since the RTR's come with the white pads and the Factory Team kits (T4.1 and SC10) come with the yellows. Same spur gears as well.

Part # is ASC9603

I just recently bought a AE RC10T4.1 RTR Brushless. Overall I'm pleased as I owned the RC10T back in the 90's which is one of the reason's I picked up this RTR. I'm not really into racing, I like speed and handling. So my question to you guys is. I want speed (45mph to 60mph) and reliability. So what ESC/Motor Combo would you reccommend to achieve this? I would prefer to achieve this with 2s because I feel 3s would be to much. Mind you my brushless setup experience is below novice at best. Basically I want to rip up and down the street or parking with the ability to tone it done for some dirt track bashing. Thanks for your help!

The white pads are the rtr basic pads and work ok but glaze over rather quickly and are rather inconsistent. (I personally dont care for them).

The yellow pads are the optional higher friction pads and i feel these work much better. Much more consistent feeling and do not glaze over as fast. These come in the FT kits. They also have a HT yellow pad that has a larger friction surface also.
