Well I finally got to race my Clocked Bonito this weekend and I love it! I am still running it fairly rich, I've only ran about 7 tanks through it since you guys broke it in for me. So I can probably lean it in another hour or two on the top and bottom once I get more fuel through it and I absolutely love it. The power is so smooth it makes driving my 6T so easy. I do not have to run on the ragged edge to make it over the bumps/jumps, it is effortless. Basically, a true point and shoot motor. Thanks guys so much, you now have a new fan. Also, I let a few people try it over the weekend so you should be getting at least two more customers in the near future from the DC area. Everyone was asking about the motor, just the way it sounds and how quick it looks and I would never be mistaken for a pro racer.

Thanks again guys,
Mike

Yeesh !!!!

that would be very intense...I would think you would have to gear up about 4 teeth to make that drivable.....The Roma really has a pile of low end power...It was making instant frizbees of my near new Badlands.... First time I have seen those tires stretched like that LOL........Going down my backplane I could hear the tires shredding on the pavement for about 100 feet.... The truggy was floating side to side like a good volleyball serve...I still don't have anywhere near a full tune on it yet, and I can safely say it is going to be really badass ! In a Buggy it would be off the charts LOL !

Haha, my p5 is pretty insane with my ultra lightweight flywheel right now. I dont run truggy, but that video turned me on. . I was doing the side to side float with my buggy and the p5, and keep in mind we are robbed here in colorado due to the altitude!

Quick question, i am running the werks #6 plugs, what others are comparable in that p5?

I am not sure how the FMS was on fuel....it did run quite nice, and Cory did win the main driving it.....2011 Canadian RC Pro Truggy champ !!!........I will say tho that these days we have much stronger ,faster and more efficient engines then the FMS....Even my regular mod B5 and P5 will make more power and RPM, my Bonito is on a totally different planet........

I would love to do you an engine, but there is no way I am going to promise anywhere near 15 minutes runtime from my Roma......
Ok I get what ur saying but I was told drake at the pnb race was running the Roma and he came in at 1530 or is that false and he was still running the bonito? And what is ur avg runtime on bonito in 150cc truggy?

Drake does things with these engines that nobody else seems to be able to do....I see average runtimes of between 9 and 12 minutes from the Bonito............running a good solid safe tune.......However I have heard of a handfull getting better...... Getting these record setting rutimes requires a substantial amount of tuning/setup skill, as well as a planned driving strategy........Unfortunately the average weekend racer is very unlikely to match the crazy runtimes they see Drake achieving

You mean your engines don't come with those skills as a download to the driver using it ?

We ran the engine this past weekend and we love it. We have almost a gallon on it now.
I have the NR9886 on it now but it is very thin and already got dented up.

How would the NR9901 or NR2096 be on the Clocked P5 in a buggy?

Here is a tid bit for new comers. Word is the engines Novarossi ships to Drake have a rivet in the backplate. This way Novarossi knows they were not altered when they are shipped back for analysis.

Also plausible deniability for Drake. He won't be able to tell anyone what's going on inside since he can't take them apart.

Very interesting. Makes sense though as companies do this in all types of motosports, factory stuff is sometimes just not availible off the shelf.

I do have question as I see u have video of the 21-7 fms
What kind of run time u getting? I had a 7.5 Venturi on it and only got 7 minutes which is unacceptable in today's market in a truggy
I have 2 and they are the fastest engines I ever ran and I own 2 which in my buggy I'm playing with a 6.5 venturi but if it doesn't get in the 9 minute range I will have to put the os speed in to compete
Thank you for any help and please let me know wen Roma's will be available as I'm dying to get one from you
roma looks great!!, like to hear about the run-times its getting

and yes, they run sealed backplates, and are VERY liable for those engines, and there safe, Un-altered return!!! no one ever knows whats really inside, his roma might be a roma V.3.2 by the time we saw it for all anyone knows...
