This is my first Sc10 4x4, do you guys even use the clicker? Or overdrive, under drive pulleys?
Pretty much everyone locks the clicker down and does not use over/underdrive. Stock settings will get it rolling but your best bet is to find a set up sheet that resembles your track and start there. AE's site has some listed.

Interesting picture, not one time during the event would those tires work , maybe that pic was from friday practice because from what i saw Jconcepts 3d's were the tire of choice on sunday.(which sucked azz for me!!)

Thanks!
pretty much running the same set up with the pro4 4600, 14 on the pinion and stock spur, medium size track with loose dirt. I only ran two packs through the truck on its shake down run and came off at 145 with a reedy 60c 5500 lipo stick pack. So far so good, this weekend will tell the trueth at the Michigan State points race.

All the AE setup sheets from Hartson and Numedahl show green barcodes in all wheel positions, except for 4w truck (green double dee fronts) and 4w buggy (gold barcodes front).

You already know I'm always a little skeptical when it comes to setup sheets, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's running Kyosho springs in my 2w SC.

I love you Craig

Do me a favor sense you have the parts ...
Please weight the metal basket part & the Ae plastic basket and give me the weight ....

It doesn't matter what those two weigh. The Entire assembly is required for AE's to work. And the entire assembly is needed for Mac's to work. So weighing those two to see AE's is lighter and thus in some alternative universe, you're right; is completely and utterly Pointless.

I'm glad to see that even me being gone, WC hasn't changed his spewing of misinformation.

Sounds like I'm going to have to order one soon....

Is there really that much difference in running the saddle packs vs the stick packs?

My Pro4 4000 was ton of motor for the lighter stock SC10 4x4 geared 13-14t/62 (32P).
Even now with the added weight of the Exotek chassis on 15/60(center diff) the 4000 is still more than enough motor the keep pace with other 4x4. Your 4600 will be a beast!

I have a MTK basket in my parts box and had it sunday at TRCR, i'll show it to ya next time. Running the center diff right now and just did some major maintenance on my truck, looking forward to rubbing the fenders on that pink shell of yours

Edit: CraigMBA already weighed the two.

And once again, Wild Cherry George shows he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Robinson will be fine but if they don't have a 32p get the mod .08. It is the same pitch.

The pissing contest really draggs the thread down.

What's the consensus on the FT team kit? Does it fix all of the shortcomings of the regular kit? Anything to look out for besides the sagging arms?

Just to confirm, what is the spur size on the v2 center diff?
