Hi there,

I’m new to the RC scene.

I want to start off with 1/10 drift cars, seems that people in the forums recommend getting the Tamiya TT-01 for beginners.

If I want to start off with a kit what would I need to get in addition? (etc Radio Transmitter, Led lights, tools to fix up) and what would be the estimated total cost?

Would you recommend getting a RTR instead and what is the general difference?

im looking at quantum racing site and the prices look reasonable, are there any other shops i should take a look at too?

Many thanks!

*confused*

I would suggest going to Winnie and place a deposit and for her to get it in for u. No one else stocks Hobao as far as I know.

My personal thoughts would be getting a front one-way #53833 & #53877 if it fits the rear.

Thanks

Caster was the 1st 1/8 off-road I had. Back then, I managed to get a great deal from the Caster USA owner. I think Caster is a great start up for a beginner. Their parts are pretty durable and cheap.

hi guys,

i am new to this. i am thinking of getting a traxxas e-revo brushless or hpi savage flux or hpi vorza flux hp. what do you guys think? Or maybe i should go for a ruslter vxl instead which is cheaper or any other commendations? I am looking for an electric set-up to be my first rc. Just want something to be able to go bash around, go on track and have some fun

Anyone know where I can get a good price on the rc mentioned? I found the e-revo selling for about 820 USD on ebay shipped. and the rustler vxl for 385 shipped.

Where can i get a good price in singapore and around how much in singapore?

Cheers,
Justin

Problem with Traxxas is there is no spares in Singapore so u have to order yr own. Go on Youtube and see if u like a Monster Truck or Buggy. HPI is supported in Singapore.

hi, need advice from Imax B6 user.
Just got a Imax B6 and was trying to charge a 4600 Mah Nimh batt.
I choose input current as 1.0A and the charger indicated FULL with the capacity readout showing 00486?

Assuming I choose discharge mode, will the readout show ~4600 upon FULL discharge?

Thanks

Hi!
I have sanwa m11x tx, orcaq spark esc and 11.5t brushless motor.
What's the best fdr? my CS is 118%.
Also, the settings for my tx is quite confusing. for instance the epa, Exp, alb, etc...

What would be the best tx settings?
What are the ideal spur and pinion sizes?

Drifting on tiled surface..

tnx for your suggestions..

cheers!

Try discharging and see. After that recharge the batt. It should be able to charge ard the region of 4600. If not, try cycling the batt a few times.
