raise ball stud in the rear helps control body roll quite well..
Highly recommend to try ...
One of the few upgrades or modifications* that really work in helping the Sc10 4x4 get around the track faster ...
* chassis brace
*Ae V2 slipper
* saddle pack Li-po
*Ae Team steering rack

That will level-out the camberlinks and raise the roll-center , If im not mistaken.
when you have the ballstuds on the hubs high, and the ballstuds on the chassis low, and you make an imaginary line parallel to the camberlinks. That way the imaginary lines will cross each other lower, then when yoy space out the ballstuds on the chassis, right?

I just dont understand why you put the blue spacers under the ballstuds on the chassis.

Just curious will a sc450-bl esc work with a Castle 1410 3800KV motor or should I just pony up for a Tekin RX8 once I've gotten the proper gearing for my Spur and Pinion Gears? I want to test it and make sure it'll work so I'm sure that will be fine I'm just worried that the ESC would be too weak on this motor for a sc10 4x4

So just got my ft kit, Was going to go through the setups on associated's website and pick one as close as possible to my track conditions for a starting point when I realized a lot of them are a bit older setups. Question being with this being the factory team kit are there any major differences between the shocks or chassis that I would make the setups"undesirable"
should also note that the truck will be ran on a high bite indoor track with a mixture of tight and open sections and largish doubles and tables.

I don't understand how those are any better than the rcshox Akbar or the mtk clutch basket. Rcshox Akbar has 4 settings and uses ball bearings instead of sleeves around bolts.
The AE clutch basket Is the same thing as what everyone has been running for months, except it uses differently shaped slipper pads.
If history repeats itself there will be an AE center diff that will be the best mod ever
I currently run the MMP with good results, but highly recommend the external BEC. If you have MMP + Savox Servo + Specktrum Rx it's a MUST HAVE IMO to prevent glitchign and eventully wearing out the internal bec on the MMP.
With a lower consumption servo a Rx CAP may suffice.

And Miz is right. Cap will barely get the job done with a certain setup, the BEC is nearly mandatory. I only used castle speedos in my race rigs because they were sitting in my stash tbh. And they have not once let me down.

MMP + Castle BEC + Savox + pro4 motors seem to be a pretty bullet proof set up from most folks I read from or talk to.
RX8 is still going to be the best option, but ~50 dollars more then you can pick up a mmp + bec from tower with coupon.
If you already have a mmp around, its a no brainer to use it and just pick up a bec.

the RX8 has a better built in bec (5 volts) and has great tune ability plus it can handle the high draw from the Pro 4's better.
You can download the pro driver setups too which is cool.
I've owned both.
the MMP is ok as long as you dont run Savox servos. It's a good starter but the Tekin is the next step up and what the pro drivers use.
I was surprised how much more power the Tekin RS can make over the MMP. same settings (17.5).
There's a reason why most of the fast guys use Tekin products.
