Thinking about getting 1 when they get off back order.
the plastic bellcracks flex, worse on the SC10 than on any other B/T4 platform vehicle because of the big heavy and sticky rubber we use. The aluminum bellcranks take the dead feeling out of the steering. It's a very direct feel, but require a metal gear servo.

If the GPM one is in stock, is does the same thing basically. I have 2 of them, one on the T4.1 and the other on the Sc10 . works well.

A lot of the slop in the steering comes from those stupid little sleeves that attach the Ackerman arm to the steering bellcranks.
In my opinion, it's not so much the sleeves but that AE chose to run a threaded screw all the way thru them instead of a machined shouldered screw that fits the i.d. of the bushing.

Kind of a shame really - with all the ball bearings in the rack everywhere else, it's like running 99 yards for a touchdown and then turning around on the one yard line to run backwards...

which conversion are you using? I have used both and didnt have a problem with either. I switched out the proline kit that came on my used ft to ae parts.
Are you over torquing the wheel nuts? I only have blown out rear bearings with the stock hubs.

Sounds like the case of the Mondays, or you're over-tightening the wheel nuts. Are you using spacers?

how did it break, and how long was the bearing in there? Which conversion did you use?

The front bearings on my sc10rs with 12mm hex front hubs are still butter smooth since X-mas.

I have a Turnigy lipo 7.4 5000 mah 40-50 c battery on a ft i can't slide the battery back very far because the strap won't go in to the slot because the battery is too thick, is this normal? do I need a different battery?

Are the TLR 22 and 22T springs the same size? Just wondering what to get if I'm doing the conversion. I have 22 orange/yellow buggy springs on my B4, was looking to do the same conversion for the SC10 but clueless what spring size and color to get. Thanks!!

For the avid aluminum steering Bellcrank install what are they talking about possibly having to shim the bulk head screws to prevent binding? pics would be helpful ....
