Thanks man! I'll give it a try next time the problem occurs, and idk how far away that is but I do travel aalot and check out many tracks. My rc goes wherever I go. Maybe I'll make it a point to make it out there and run with ya!

This question is about a t4 not a t4.1 sorry. I went through the diff in the trans today when I put it all back together I have the adjusting screw on the LEFT not the right. Does it matter ?? Have not run the truck yet. Hope I don't have to take it out again.
Thanks

No, it doesn't matter. Just remember what side you put it on when you need to adjust it.

In theory you would think it would, but it doesnt. AE used to say to put it on the left now it doesnt even show direction on the current models. I think they have found it didnt make any difference. I always put mine with the diff screw adj. on the spur side just because that is what i am used to.

yes like i said in theroy it could. AE doesnt even state direction anymore. Kyoshos show to put it on the left and has no issues of it loosening up. But for a piece of mind, put it on the spur side.

I haven't seen any issues with the diff loosening when the screw is on the "wrong" side. I flip the diff every now and then to even out the wear in the outdrives.
I mark the outdrive that has the screw for easy reference. Couple little grind marks from a dremel.

Losi's used to be on the left (dunno about now) and AE is on the right... but i have never flipped an AE diff around to see for myself if it will loosen.
Im feelin kinda st00pid though... because i have thrown away a LOT of outdrives over the years with only one worn side.

Got my T4.1 on Thursday. Have raced it twice and I freaking love this thing! So fun.
Need some setup help though. The back end is super loose and I mean SUPER loose. If I am not incredibly gentle on the throttle it's gone and a couple of times I lost it just turning sharply with no throttle. On the same track today my SC10 had no traction issues at all, so I know the T4.1 is just not setup right yet.
Do you guys add weight in the back?
What battery positon do you go with?
I've got the 3.5degree toe on there now in back, too much? Too little?.
Whaddya think?

Its an easy front tire to use and wont 'screw you into the corner' like Proline Edge style front tires can. It would give you time to get used to the rest of the truck without excessive setup change...
