+1!

Mine show up tonight. I need to get one done by Sunday so I'll be starting on it as soon as the kiddos get to bed.

Wow Craig, those bodies look fantastic! Great job! We're going to post these on our Facebook page, if you don't mind.

Thanks,

Harold, Method RC

Craig,

Your bodies look great. Nice job!

I got my bodies last night. I trimmed one out to fit my SC-R and got the first color painted last night. I like how it fits. Overall it is a little wider than the PL Flow-Tek and JC Raptor.

I have a question though. How are you cutting out the vents over the front fenders? When I did this on my Flow-Tek I tried using a body reamer to put a hole at each end and then cut with an X-acto knife between the holes. That was a PITB. Then I tried using a Dremel with a carbide ball nose cutter. That was easier, but wasn't as consistent.

Thanks,

Chris

I used a 1/8 drill bit like a router. drilled through one end and cut to the other. Then I wend back with a cut off wheel and cleaned them up a little.

I drilled a hole on either end, and used the cutoff wheel to attach them. If I had it to do over again, I'd of stacked two cut off wheels together to make the slice wider.

Hey Craig have you done any experimenting swaping back and forth between your old body and the Method body. To me the truck felt more stable. What say you?

The Method bodies clear by a mile (well, 3/16") at ROAR legal max width. With the suspension fully compressed, here's what they look like:

Here is a JC Raptor 0090 wheel clearance for reference (same truck, also fully compressed):

I have an AE and a PL body around here somewhere, but suffice to say they are far worse than the JC body, which ain't that great.
