They are not difficult to repair if they are a common type and it's just the spriing end. Often the end clip bends or snaps and with a bit of care you may get lucky and put a new bend on it, coil it up and it's good again. If the housing lugs are broken, then sadly it's a new pullstart.

Well aint this funny, i was about to post about an issue im having with my pull start. Its thunder tiger .21. The cord came completely out. I was wondering if i could rewind it, like on a lawnmower. Would be nice if i could dont wanna have to get a new one. Don't have the money right now. Plus it would be nice to get it fixed since its now 50 degrees out yay gotta love Wisconsin winters....

The sling is not broken of nothing.. I just thought the spring could stretch and cause this. I am going too try to recoil the spring tighter and give that a shot.
