Norcal Hobbies had it's first asphalt race today and it was rad
TC6 was totally dialed in the main when the traction went down about a .5 second/lap
Geared 54/96 with revtech at 1 notch back from full timing for 3.55 rollout and was pretty fast but could use little more torque
Guess I noticed that during the qualifiers it had less steering but towards the main steering for me increased so might try something during qualifying to have steering then also
Running solaris mediums. Most we're running Team Powers 36R
Wonder what I'd notice if I was running same setup with TC6.1
Will post setup if anyone wants it?
Great car

These are both three holes pistons?
If so, what is the difference between the two?
Is there any noticable difference in the characteristics as to behaviour of the car when racing?
And same question when compared three holes with 2 holes kit #3.
I see LOSA5045/5046/5047/5048. All three holes. It gets more and more complicated.
Which ones to use? Racing on asphalt, most of the time low grip. Some tracks medium grip.
Or is it all too much of a hassle and just go with the kit #3(3/64")?
What brand pinions and spurs best to use on the 6.1?
Preferably supplied from Hong Kong.

17.5 blinky setup
It was totally dialed in the main. Not really sure how my motor compared to the two leaders but one of them said I was catching them. Unfortunately I got too far back early on to dice it out with them but a 3rd place finish with a bunch of great 17.5 racers was fine for me first time out racing sedan in 8 years
Can't wait to run mod in the near future
I will try the Team Powers 36R tires next time to see how they do since they are the Reedy tires.

FYI, It seems like Tamiya x-rings don't seal the tc6 dampers properly. On the bench, it felt like they were getting air in them immediately. I threw some blue schui orings in there, and it seems much better.
