Tamiya mini cooper
ABC Hobby's 240Z version is 210mm & HPI's version is 225mm. There is also a 240ZG (wider flares) version for 1/10 by ABC Hobby.
I wasn't going for super scale and I know that the body will get thrashed pretty quick since I am new to on road. A 240z has been one of my favorite cars since I was little, that along with the 510. It was $10-15 cheaper than any other body. It didn't have bumpers or a stick kit.
Of course if anyone wants to share ultra fast mini secrets, I'm listening.
Hi guys,
I have an M05 S Spec, Long Wheel Base Config.
It keeps on tumbling over while turning and it is not funny anymore.
Set-up:
- front hard white springs with BLUE pen marks
- rear hard white springs with YELLOW pen marks
- tires are Tamiya slicks with medium foam inserts
- ride height is that the arms are parallel to the ground
- oil is the oil that comes with the kit
- my EPA is already at 60% and if I go any lower, the car won't turn anymore
- the tracks are asphalt high grip indoor
- shocks are the blue TRF shocks
What am I doing wrong?

1. Gears: Don't grease the gears! Run them dry, or use a tiny squirt of spray silicone.
2. Traction roll: Have you tried applying a tiny bead of CA glue to the sidewall of the front tires, right where they meet the tread?

You're welcome. I'm a dedicated fan of the Tamiya Mini class. I mean, who else d0 you know that has a full set of brand new HPI/Ronal Teddy Bear wheels with new/old HPI radials? Yup, only me...because I'm a dork.
