Is anybody running these GensAce saddles?
http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-25c-6000-2s3p-saddle.html

Are they too tall?

or should I get these?
http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-25c-4800-2s3p-saddle.html

Should I get something with more C rating? 25c seems kinda low.

With my 550 4.5 Reedy sonic and same battery, I can do almost 15 minutes. havent gotten a full run with my 5200 saddle in yet though.
6 minute 19sec laps high traction indoor.

on the 1/8th scale track i run its 8minutes and 25sec laps loose.

It actually runs cooler on the bigger track.. Surprised me. But I'm running a boosted 8.5 and I run the same gearing on each track. More gear doesn't always make people faster. I run 11/62 if i need more speed i add timing/boost. not gearing. adding timing or boost is like adding rpms so it will wind out much better. my boosted 8.5(5200) is faster than my tekin 4.5(4800) 550 with same gearing just less torque.

You might not notice the difference in low C rated battries but I did.

Go with a battery with over 40C would be my suggestion for this truck.

Hey jeff those gens ace arent too bad to practice with, but those 4800s wont get u through a whole race and the 6000s cause the truck to handle weird, im trying those turnigy nanotecks now and they seem to be pretty dam good for 37 dollers

I am using the tall ones now, truck handles better with weight. just ordered three sets last week! I dont think they are 25c as they feel as powerful as my 50c Promatch's. havent puffed any of them and have had all of mysets over a year now and you know how i do it!!

Ricky is right the 4800 are good for 7min30sec pretty much on the dot!

I've got some Haiyin 30C packs on the way...the fact that they actually manufacture the raw cells makes me feel comfortable....will know more once the local track opens....

So far, all I've run in my 4x4 is Reedy 60C 5500 packs.....yes, they were great....but at $130 each, and one failed within 30 charges, I'm going to take a look at something else.
