What class? That will be the deal breaker there.

Stock buggy is more popular at my lhs but that's gonna change in late march due to some rule changes. I only go there once a month though. I have a pretty sweet backyard track that I drive on 3-4 times a week if weather allows it. I'd say stock for now

3300kv is more than enough for your back yard I would think. Depending on what they define stock class will tell ya what motor.
Stock class here is 17.5T and Super stock is 13.5T at one track

I'm having some trouble with sticktion on my V2 shocks. Can anyone tell me the exact thickness the spacer needs to be so I can sand down accordingly?

I have found that by reducing the sizing of the spacer between the two o-rings, the stock "bright red" o-rings work quite well. The stock spacer that comes with the shocks are 3.6mm. If you use the thick spacer from #6440 the spacer is 3.3mm and the black spacer from #6466 is 3.2mm.

This is definitely something to play around with to reduce the drag on the seals and to allow for more swell. I have been using the 3.3mm spacer, but will be testing the 3.2mm one in the future.

You use the stock bearings out of your wheels in the steering blocks.

how often are you guys changing your shock o-rings? im changing mine every 3-4 weeks of running. Just seeing what everyone else thinks

When the O-ring's are shimmed right for swollen o-rings you can keep reusing them until you actually get wear on them, which is about a little more than a month for me (~12 hours of running). It doesn't take long for new O-rings to reach their saturation limit, and then they pretty much don't swell anymore. I think this is the best way to go IMO.

If you choose to change them out very frequently (like once a week or so), I think you run into greater inconsistencies with o-ring swell and stiction. If you shim it for a new o-ring, then as soon as it swells it will have more stiction, which means more frequent maintenance.

Yes. The +8 is a big difference. Especially in stability.
