Stock buggy is more popular at my lhs but that's gonna change in late march due to some rule changes. I only go there once a month though. I have a pretty sweet backyard track that I drive on 3-4 times a week if weather allows it. I'd say stock for now
Stock class here is 17.5T and Super stock is 13.5T at one track

This is definitely something to play around with to reduce the drag on the seals and to allow for more swell. I have been using the 3.3mm spacer, but will be testing the 3.2mm one in the future.
If you choose to change them out very frequently (like once a week or so), I think you run into greater inconsistencies with o-ring swell and stiction. If you shim it for a new o-ring, then as soon as it swells it will have more stiction, which means more frequent maintenance.
Anyone have more info about this conversion ??
Max life is about 10 days ...
* Use the spacer's from #6440 rebuild kit
*White spacer made of Teflon, is smoother than the black spacer, fits better as it is just a bit smaller....
* Green slime the rings before installation

Drove my buggy for the first time at New Red Hobbies, I like it.
Big difference from short course. I still have to fine tune but I do like it. I still have lots to learn as it is my first buggy.
Everything was going great until my Tekin RS went up in smoke.
Is the +8 chassis really going to make that much of a difference??
