I drilled and tapped a small hole(4-40 i believe) in the bottom of my aluminum rear hubs and threaded in a set screw, it pushes up in the center against the hinge pin and takes all the slop out of that area so the pin rotates in the A arms only, not in the aluminum hub. I used to shim everything in my buggy but nowadays not so much..i made a tool with an old shock assembly tool(for V1 shocks) to hold the little plastic washers so i could sand them to any thickness i wanted. Works great for arms, hubs, etc..Basically just the shock tool clipped then sanded down at the tip, it has the same outer diameter as the small washers inner diameter..

AE has a record that the other manufacturers dream about.. Sure, they make stuff just as good, if you need to have the latest design and what is the buzz, get something that just was released..You will still be lapped..
DAMMM!!! SERVED IT!!!!

Best mod you can do to remove the slop (which there is a lot of) in the aluminum hubs.

AE is prolly skurred to replace the B4. Its replacement might bomb like the Tc4 did compared to the Tc3.

I can say that tho cause i AM die hard AE.

For a small track that is perfect. Sometimes I try a 23 just because I think it smoothes the car out a little more.

so now that the Avid steering rack has been out for a bit, what's the overall consensus of it? I have it, and I'm racing club tmrw and a point series sunday, but I haven't put it on yet. just wanted to see what people thought.

You think ?

Hopefully they are not done with the T4 , expecting a couple new parts that will change all that ....

I run a 13.5 Revtech at 75/30 with 45 deg of boost on the speedo, 0 on the can. Comes off at 150ish and has plenty of speed and low end torque. I've updated the Tekin software to 222 (released yesterday) so this may change tonight.

I do wish I went with a D3, but wanted the Revtech just in case I needed to run blinky while traveling.

Not dissing ae or the b4.1

Just seems like we're due for a new upgrade

I'm new to 2wd buggy and don't want to spend a load of cash and have it be old news in a month you know..

Anyone have pics of a mmp in their b4/b4.1?

How would a tekin 8.5 and mmp run one of these

FT kit or worlds kit? I don't doubt it's potential. The fastest cars at my local track are 4x4 sc and the b4.1 guys
