Does anyone know where I can find the pro4 manual as one PDF document rather then one pdf per page.

Is anyone interested in some bevel gears. They are the original versions, but I have about 15 of them, and don't need that many.

Hello to all, I haven't been around for a while so sory if it's been asked before. I repaced the ball cups on my car with RPM ball cups. They seem to be overly tight, to the point where my suspension won't fall down by it self. I know it's the cups because with out the links on the arms hinge OK. What's the deal do they just need time to seat in? Or what's up?

Pinch them with a pair of pliers. Hara uses the RPM ball cups because he likes the tight fit. I prefer the HPI A301, 2, 3. Ball cups http://www.hpiracing.com/graphics/parts/a301-3.jpg They fit just tight but not too tight.

rc-zombies,

The ball sizes are for the most part universal between manufactures, metric and standard. I have used the Losi Ti ball end in the past and they worked fine.

Thumbs up

HPI after sale support in the UK is the best.
I Emailed them Saturday about the new gears and on the following Friday I recieved not just 2 of each V1..1 gear but the complete 1.1 upgrade set with backplate 0.1mm shims and screws.

A lot of other companies could learn from this after sales support.

I use RPM ball cups and I have no problem at all. I use body reamer cut little bit off inside the ball cups.

Another way maybe is to pop the cups in and out of the balls serveral times to stretch and loosen them up.

pinching and drilling a hole on top of the cups may be easier.

btw..drilling a hole on top of the cups makes accessing the hex balls alot easier. you will not have to pop the cups off to make ball adjustments.

With the ball cup on the ball stud use some pliers and squize the sides where the ball stud is.....its like doing the opposite of puting the ball cup on....you squize the sides and not the top. Hope you can understand what Im talking about....it works well for pesky RPM ball cups. I hate to do this so thats why I use the Schumacher Ball Grippa's....they work great.....super tight and no binding....and they are flat on the top so no need to grind them to fit under some rims.

Default new gears

I just bought a new kit. How do I know if it has the updated gears?
