I have the new car and it is beautifully manufactured and has all the option parts you would expect of a top level race car. This is not a RTR! It has very nice silver/gun metal option parts and the plastics are very clean with tight tolerances. They have also gone to a traditional rear end with no chassis kick up.
There are several unique aspects to the vehicle and I will post more details after I have a chance to go through the buggy. RB has done a very good job on this car. If it drives as nice as it looks it will be fantastic.

Not Quite....lol
It rotates faster than the Kyosho but has decent rear traction. The suspension doesnt feel as plush as the MP9 but i didnt put much time into the setup.
The car is very capable and DURABLE. My 14 y/o tumbled it a few times. i would be interested to see the new car with flat chassis and other imporovements. I really liked the linkage and brakes. Lots of aluminum on the car. very nice kit.

From lack of movement on this thread id say the answer is no... I do not really understand why the states only buy 3 or 4 brands only.. Many good cars out there that we do not try... I was looking for an answer to this question also since I was thinking about buying one ..
