Looks like RB has entered the racing market with the new 'R' Buggy.
Good looking machine from what can be seen in the pics.

I always thought the RB One looked nice but of course it presented as a RTR entry level buggy (whether that was true or not, that was what I got from the ads)
Reading the list of so-called features ("read more", on the neobuggy link above) it has not convinced me any further
The list shows what every other buggy has, except for 3 piston choices in the kit (yeah, cool) and closed off wheelnuts (wow! ...not). They may as well state "4 wheels" and "has a rear wing"
I am kinda interested but based on their list of "features" I'd not buy one til a few other people have driven one or I read a proper review.

It could be like comparing the Losi RTR vs Losi Race Roller. Pretty much the same machine, just better material throughout. Guess time will tell.

Yes that is true, but the specs tell me nothing about why it is different to any other buggy.
Considering most of us are tech heads (to some degree) in this hobby, they need to tell us about it in depth if they wanna sell any
Especially if it is new - like Losi, AE and Kyosho dont need to say much about their latest model, other than it is "new" or "upgraded" and existing owners will upgrade.
Would not be too many ppl running an RB One in proper racing so if they wanna sell the RB One-R we need info

Tech Champion
Wasn't the original RB One developed by someone else and taken over by RB at the last minute or something?..
Dunno'.. You guys seem pretty harsh here though.. Good on 'em.. I like what RB has been doing recently - with engines anyway offering top quality stuff for killer prices.. RB seems to be getting aggressive - and in the right direction... I'm sorted with my new RC8.2(and Fire 11.. ) but I wish them well....

Having big name drivers doesnt make car good, it helps sales, take durango for example savoya had terrible luck with them, but a little dowm the road lutz won PNB maybe this car just needs some time to find its place on the market.
