Default New to the form?

Hey RC ers hows it going..? I was wondering im kinda new to rc car racing. I did it a few years ago, and had fun. Well now i just bought a new rc10b4.1 and wanted to drive the modifed class, what size turn engine with respect being new should i run? I will be running at a indoor track. I want to get the New Reedy esc, and engine combo. To be honest i don 't know what is going to be to big, and what 540, and 550 mean. Also need batteries for the car too. thanks Jess

I would get either a 17.5 or a 13.5 and run that. You need 2cell battery, between a 30C and 50C and more than 4000mah. Gens Ace are cheap and work well.

oh that and stickers make you faster. I have scientific proof

Is this enough stickers?

ThunderbirdJunkie figures his 8.5 is now a -1.5. Faster, right?

Couldn't resist this:

Looks like ThunderbirdJunkie doesn't run his car much, that wing is way too nice! As for the B2 stickers, i'f be concerned if you win much, all the new guys will be asking the store employees where they can buy a B2 buggy

Anyone have info on the "ballcup" on his steering block ball stud? Or the BB spring collars on what look like V2 shocks? Got this off the AVID site advertising their new steering rack

Default Sway bar "ballcup"

Does the rack really need that cup, or is it just for looks? Well, it sure looks nice, but is there any benefit with it?
