Default Sensor cable and battery question

Hi,
Are sensor cables generic? or particular to motor / esc

What is the relationship between the battery and the ESC (Amps) and how is that calculated?
6800 70C 7.4v = ??Amps, if ESC = 45A, burst = 260A, does that imply a battery no bigger than 4500MaH and what ??C

Thanks

most batteries today with a C rating and capacity as they are , will out perform the demands of Speedies . but battery quality is the issue. some C ratings i doubt are true, and it is a bit hit and miss how they get their C rating.
when working out the 8th scale gear i have, i was informed of Amps, x C rating and it should out rate the Running Amps of the speedy, this is to not have the battery as the weak link. but burst Amps is all different. a 40C battery cant really meet the demands of Runnign a lot of turbo or very agressive software. you will soon see the battery over heat, and Puff. i have seen the Orion 90C batteries Puff in Mod, and it really comes down to how you look after your batteries and how much demand you want from them. If you want all out performance, then you will push all your gear to its limit, and probably past it, then things just dont last. if your happy to take things easier, then your stuff will last, but you cant expect the same performance from some one pushing things to the limits.
