What pipe/setup you running? Interested in runtime on the .24 as well.

I ran the Losi RE10 and the Orion 2013 so far. Both good but I think I like the 2013 overall.Did not realy test runtime yet as I only have about a 1/2 gallon through it but I was running the CRF .28 REV the other day and got 81/2 minutes on that so I think the .24 will be better.I dropped two teeth on the spur gear and did not feel it on the bottom but she picked up a little extra top speed for sure.

Thumbs up JTP

Got #269 Tebo edition in my possession. The bag is pretty nice and will hold a couple engines and pipes. Really a good deal for what ya get in the set. Can't wait to break these bad boys in.

That is the very first Orion engine I have seen or heard of that has broken a rod.. Piston/Sleeve wears out before that can happen..

My Point being don't give up on them just because of one problem..

New rods cost almost as much as a new motor.

And this is something I still don't understand. How can they sell and engine for $170ish and then charge $80 for a rod or P/S, etc.. Makes little since to me..

thats the problem with all engine manuf. Its just not cost effective to rebuild a engine. Time you do bearings, rod, piston and sleeve easily over 200 for most engines.

Motor was 150 from stormer, so 50 or more for a rod is a 3rd the cost. May look at a x3 or b2
