Adam Drake has a How To out there on fixing the Losi Lipos. It requires cutting into the shrink wrap and wire swapping and soldering. We switched to the Dynamite 2000 rx packs (same size) and had no further issues.
I phrased it wrong in the other post, it isn't regulated but has a voltage cut-off that is activated at high draw under heavy load.

Wow. Are you serious? This could be my entire issue!! Where did you get the dynamite lipo from? Do you have a part number? I don't think it's a bec issue as my lipo goes straight to the receiver. All 8.4 volts

Does the protec rc packs have these chips in them? Or are they good to go
