- Conical cut refers to a radiused surface on one side of the piston, usually the compression side.
- Tapered cut refers to the holes and their orientation to the horizontal surface of the piston face. Stock are straight cut, holes are drilled at 90 degrees to the horizontal plane. Wereas tapered pistons are cut at an angle as they pass through the piston body. As for the fluid dynamics bit, well that's outside my pay grade!

Does Serpent offer a tapered piston? If so, where do you find it?
The holes are the same as the stock the serpent conical piston is convex the holes are not tapered

That's what I thought Bigjay. It seemed as if folks were eluding to another option set of pistons. Just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page.

as far as over all design I think its great but sometimes looks can be deceiving especially in LRP cases

I like the fact that there is nothing hardwired in to the case but that can cause other problems in offroad with dirt all over the place. feels more like an onroad esc but we will see. Since I am new to bigger escs I ll take it easy
