I believe that you are incorrect. I have commented on this many times, but here goes again:
We were not involved in a lawsuit---@5 companies in the industry were sent warning letters by a CA law firm. If you manufacture in California, or even ship/sell products into CA, you cannot claim "Made in the USA" unless each and every component, down to a .001 cent resistor is made in the USA.
So even companies, such as Novak, manufacturing here for 33 years cannot advertise "Made in the USA". Therefore, we adopted the "Designed, assembled and tested by Novak in Irvine, Calif., using globally sourced components." A similar disclaimer is probably used by everyone by now.

Got my el cheapo 17.5 /60a speedo combo yesterday
..Didnt have time to put the speedo in before i went racing, but I did run the 17.5 in 2wd buggy, blinky esc class just ran it with my Hobbywing 60a I had in the buggy..These motors are JUST FINE for club racing in blinky mode.I was just as fast as I usually am and made the A with no problem. It was actually faster than the 3 yr old Orion 17.5 that I have been running in that class which was expected since the orion motor is 3 years old...Looking at the speedo up close it IS a hobby wing just as suspected, just has a different Cap. module on it..will be getting the yellow speedo in my buggy for testing at next weeks races..Mr .Ypin2000 (ebay seller) should be giving me a kickback at this point,LOL..Have quite a few peeps at the track looking at these pretty hard after scoping mine out last night...

I used the HW 1.64v s/w to update to the latest mod firmware (with both a 8.5 for 2wd and 7.5 for 4wd buggy). Timing/Turbo boost is off. It runs quite cool. I have never used STOCK.

around 2.5 weeks on the shipping time, others have had them come quicker..The esc comes with a USB link, but it is easy to program manually, or one could buy a hobbywing lcd programming box to use with it. That is probally what I will do since you can store firmware in the lcd box, and just use the USB link it comes with for at home tweaking...

You might need to update your software. Im not sure that early ezrun systems allow the updates tho..
