Team Orion Engines

PitPop. I was wondering if you or Cody had had a chance to run one of the nVision motors? I realize they aren't true Orion engines, but thought maybe you all might have or at least run some Orion protos with similar crank design.. If you have what did you think of them? I just bought 2 from A-Main because the price was incredible....

i have lost both rear bearings in my b5 pro n crf tebo .. i heard the tko ceramic bearings are very good but the inner race of this size bearing is a little on the tighter fitting side on the werks crank .. but if the bearings are same size den it shud be a tight fit on orion too .. funny thing is i tried to put the werks crank in the orion rear bearing and it dint fit but orion crank fit on the werks bearing even aftr both being same size .. dats why i was confused .. do let us know if the inner race of the tko is tight or ok fitting in the orion.

I pretty much figured that, but since nVision seems to be a spin-off of Orion, I thought I would ask.. I say spin-off because the Race version has CRF etched and just about everything, just like the CRF Orion engines..

Curious after reading through this thread which is the engine to buy for a buggy? The special editions or the 3 port pitpop mentioned a few pages back? Can the 5 port King/Tebo's make 10 mins in buggy? Looking for a smooth power band and lots of it. Thanks.

If you want 10 minutes in buggy then the 3 ports are your ticket.. They seem to have better bottom end punch and do not lack on top, IMO.

the 5 ports will make 10 pretty easy.. they have a lot of power, and you can use the smaller carb inserts.. either 5 port or 3 port mileage is going to come down to your finger.. if you have a 3 port and you are laying on the trigger all the time, the mileage won't be good. Cody runs the 5 ports exclusively these days.

Really interested in the Discovery engines just because they seem to be a good value money wise. Run time with these pretty good? Looking at running it in a buggy. Just have heard really good things about Orion engines and have seen some run well at our track. Just have not seen a Discovery in person.
Thanks
