Good Catch.. Someone needs to contact Horizon and have remove the Ceramic bearings part from that description.. I know if i ordered it thinking ceramics would be in there and there weren't any I'd be PO'd.

sorry guys, I've been trying to get them to change that but they haven't. I guess changing the descriptions is a challenge or something?
Maybe the database is so big it's tough to do or more complicated than you think I guess. I also don't like that the abbreviation for Discovery is "disc".. who is going to search for "disc?"
Anyhow, anyone who buys an engine for 200 bucks and expects ceramics is nutty. Besides, they will be so happy with the way it runs, they won't care.

Nicker, I'm not talking down to anyone, but you wouldn't believe the stuff we have to deal with and the amount of people who wreck their stuff and try to warranty it. It's crazy. I would never talk down to anyone, it's just a case of not being able to detect someone's tone by reading on the internet. I just want to help, and it's not always easy. I take a lot of heat just because I tell it like it is and don't sugar coat stuff for people. Your problem seems totally different than what Jason is saying, yet he used you to build his case. That bothered me. If your head button is leaking, there has to be a perfectly good answer why. If you want to send it to me I will look at it and if it's defective, I will give you a new one. In fact, I will replace it no matter what. PM me if you want to send it in...
Wow thats awesome customer service right there. I know of one other person that would do stuff like that to help support their products ( Steve Odonnel). I have been running the Orion Discovery motor's also.If anybody needs help locally in the san diego area you can pm me also and we can make time to dial you in. when i have had issues with what i thought was engine related idle, it turned out to be linkage and other related stuff. I always use some type of return spring or rubber band on the carb. Thanks Paul for the help you even give me at the races picking your brain for tips to improve. Anthony Howarth

Why won't it?? I don't use Orions, yet.. Still have a slew of O'Donnell plugs, and those you can't lock on to either. Looking at the Orion plugs you should be able to.

Thanks for the reply, just picked up my first Orion engine, looking forward to running it. Is there anything special I need to know about the motor or breakin process??
