Default project recharge...

i was board and had a brand new life pack laying around, and installed in about 15 min, and this pack has dual power leads, one jst plug witch i sniped off and soldered and a standard rx battery type plug witch i will use for charging and the balance leads are free.

Nice, LiFe/LiPo is definitely the way to go for radios.

What benefit does that provide you that a set of Sanyo Eneloop LSD nimh cells cant ?

Pretty sure LiFePO has the lowest leakage current/self-discharge of any of the hobby lithium cell chemistries.

Additionally, it is lighter than 8 NiMH cells.

Looks like a 2 cell pack to me

1100mah @ 6.6v vs a set of 4 x 2000mah Eneloops @ 4.8v

Ok, lighter than 4 NiMH cells.

Forgot the newer Spektrum stuff runs 4 cells.

yes its a 2s1p pack, and it has a much longer shelf/storage life then eneloops plus its cheaper, sat around 4 months with no voltage drop and used it for like 10 min still 6.7 volts.

Not sure its any cheaper

Latest Eneloops are good for 1500 charge cycles, how many is your pack good for ?

Pretty sure 1100 mah @ 6.6v would provide pretty much the same uptime as 2000mah @ 4.8v
