Thanks though!(I don't make any money off the braces. If I did i'd go mantis and make more parts.
)And Vegatron:

You are trying to compare a mature chassis, to a chassis still in it's infancy.
For example, I built an RC8Be recently. other than raising the rear links a hole, taking away some front droop and going to the longest wheelbase, it was darn good out of the box.
On the other hand, my SC104x was just a huge POS out of the box. It was a struggle not to give up on it and it's pretty good now.
Just keep things in perspective.

I have started running VTA at my local parking lot, with my old XXX-S G+ sedan. Fresh out of the box from the last time I ran it in 2003! I seriously put the radio gear in it and blew off the dust, I didn't even change the shock oil! But a little off - about .2 second a lap. So I went back and started reading the 800+ page thread, and remembered all the stuff other guys were trying back then. TL developed that chassis almost all the way to the end. Reading that thread reminds me of this one, except I could just skip to the end if I wanted to.
Nicely done. I lol'd.

If you decide to run a 540 motor, you'll need a Yeah Racing fan.
If you decide to run a 550 or a four pole motor, you'll need a slipper upgrade. Either the Mac The Knife slipper basket, or the Mantis garodiscs.
I have not broken anything in this truck, nothing, not once.
The bolts are lighter, but you don't want to take weight off the truck, you need to add more weight. I don't know about everyone else, the Losi trucks can push an SC10 4x4 out out the way very easily. Spend the money on Mantis new center diff, Coyote's chassis brace, Exotek chassis, or something that will make the truck run better.
