Hi vadn1,

The difference between the STOCK JP FX12 T-03 and the MODIFED
format is the casing and the liner.

The Stock format has the Silver Gray Case while the Modified
format has the Hardcoated Black Case as you mentioned. The
Liner on the Stock format is just a plain stock Novarossi Liner
while the liner on the Modified format has Porting Work done
on them by JP Racing.

But both formats have the hardcoated balanced cranks in them.
